Who is Architectural Building Components?
 We are a metal roofing and metal wall panel manufacturer, whose standing seam and lap seam panels work with new and metal re-roof construction. Since our inception in 1988, our focus has been on reducing the number of lap joints and potential leaks in standing seam and the associated sheet metal trim. Based in Houston, Texas, today we offer more than twenty metal roofing panels and metal wall panels. Each one provides a beautiful, long-lasting solution for your metal wall, metal soffit, or metal roof design. Included is our most widely installed metal roof, the 200 Series standing seam metal roofing system, which can function as a retro-fit metal roof.
We have been involved in construction projects all over the United States, but focus a lot of attention on the hurricane prone gulf coast. Following Hurricane Katrina, Rita, and Ike, we have enhanced our performance and testing to respond to the demands of new construction, re-roof, and retro-fit applications. We provide roofing systems with expected lives of approximately 40 years. It is critical that we provide a means for them to stay attached through the most devastating of conditions.
Why are we a successful standing seam metal roofing manufacturer?
In almost 20 years of experience providing standing seam, lap seam metal roofing, metal wall and metal soffit panels, it seems that we have seen it all. We have always responded to the challenges presented to us by our customer, the sheet metal roof and wall panel contractor.
- Lead Time – As steel sheet metal roofing and metal wall panels on new construction are commonly needed the same time they can be field-measured, it is critical that the metal roof manufacture be able to execute orders swiftly. Our average lead time has typically been a week for the past 10 years of manufacturing metal roofing.
- Continuous length standing seam panels – Since end laps have to be single greatest weather tightness issue to a standing seam roof, we created a method to manufacture continuous length standing seam panels directly onto the roof deck or purlins using Archzilla ™. We can manufacture standing seam roof panels in up to 250’ lengths and address the thermal expansion issues associated with installing them.
- Long Trim – More than any one panel for metal roofing, sheet metal valleys and gutters typically carry significantly more water off the metal roof. Yet, they continue to be installed in 10’ sections to this day. We produce sheet metal trim in lengths up to 32’. No laps. No leaks. No limits.
- Customer Service – Communication is a vital part of being a sheet metal roof and wall panel manufacturer. The metal roof installer can slow down or stop a number of trades on a project, if they are delayed. Between our order fulfillment team and our field sales staff, we make sure that communication lines are open to answer questions related to order status, installation details, and any other concerns. Plus, we are developing a top-notch online frequently asked questions section.
