300 Series Standing Seam panels are perfect for installation over open frame or solid deck where the advantages of a taller seam or wider panel can be utilized. Site forming continuous length panels onto the roof using one of our Archzilla® trucks makes this system ideal for new construction or re-roof applications directly over existing metal roofs, single ply or modified roofs down to slopes of ¼:12.
No Laps = No Leaks
low slope standing seam or lap seam metal roofs fail at the end laps. Metal roof panel end laps are bad no matter what the slope, but on a low slope they provide a situation for water damming, then panel failure.
Our Roof Panels Resolve problems that occur with Standard Metal Roof Installations:
-
NO Vulnerable End Laps
300 Series panels have no end laps because they are manufactured right onto the roof
-
NO Exposed Fasteners
ABC's Metal Roof Panels have no exposed Fasteners
-
NO Flashing Problems
Our 300 Series Panels have vertical ribs, so flashing is a breeze
300 Series panels have no end laps because they are manufactured right onto the roof in lengths up to 250 feet using one of our Archzilla® jobsite production monster trucks. The 300 Series standing seam panel is available in both 16” and 22” widths. A vertical rib makes flashing a breeze.
300SL (single lock) & 300DL (double lock)
- Bold 3" tall seam
- Perfect for low slopes, open frame, and retrofit
- Superior water-tightness
- Jobsite Production capabilities for long panels
- Oil-can-reducing striations or stiffener ribs available
- Minimum slope ¼:12
300SL vs. 300DL
The 300 Series panels come in 2 versions, 300SL and the 300DL. Both are seamed after installation with an electric seamer: the difference being a 300SL is seamed to a 90 degree single lock and the 300DL is double folded to a 180 degree double lock.
The system features a 3 inch tall vertical rib standing seam panel that is seamed on the roof after installation. The panels are held to the substrate using 6 inch long, 20 gauge clips that allow for a full 2.5 inches of thermal movement.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Fluropon® coatings are factory applied, oven-baked finishes based on polyvinylidene fluoride resin (Kynar 500® PVDF Resin-Based or Hylar® 5000). Fluropon® coatings are manufactured by Valspar, 701 S. Shiloh Rd., Garland, TX 75042-7812.
Fluropon® coating systems consist of primer, applied at a nominal dry film thickness of .25 mil, and a color coat, applied at a nominal dry film thickness of .75 mil. Some custom colors may require additional coats, such as a clear top coat and/or a barrier coat. Some aggressive environments may require additional coats, such as a clear top coat and/or a thick film primer. Contact Architectural Building Components for suggested specifications.
PERFORMANCE
Fluropon® coatings on steel meet or exceed U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Section 07413 Metal Roofing & Siding requirements. Test results reported here are for G90 HDG. Detailed test results are available upon request.
