Headquartered in Houston, TX, Architectural Building Components is a premier manufacturer of metal roofing and non-insulated metal wall panel solutions.  We provide a broad spectrum of standing seam, metal roof panels, wall panels, and all the trim, fasteners, and accessories to guarantee the highest success rate for our metal roofing systems.  Our owner and President, Charlie Smith, has been an innovative thought leader, bringing advanced metal solutions to the construction industry for 20 years.

We are unmatched in the areas of jobsite production and long trim fabrication.   Archzilla®, our unique Jobsite Production truck, delivers the capability to fabricate metal panels in unlimited lengths at the jobsite.  With the introduction of our 238T roof system, we have the best system in the industry for low slope roofing, steep slope, metal re-roof, retro-fit, or new construction. The 238T panel’s ASTM E 1592 wind uplift rating allows it to be installed in high wind zones without the need for additional framing in nearly every case.  The 238T panel is perfect for curved roof (concave or convex) or tapered roof designs.

We manufacture our standing seam, wall panels, and long trim from several metals, including Steel, DuraZinc™, Aluminum, Copper, and in some cases, Stainless Steel.  Our steel is composed of an average of 30% recycled material.  Our DuraZinc™ is composed of 50% recycled material.  All of our standing seam, lap seam panels, wall panels, and long trim can be recycled after an extensive and useful life on your structure. 

ABC DuraZinc™ is the newest addition to our line of metal roof and metal wall panels. This 99.995% pure, special high-grade Zinc is harvested right here in the United States.  DuraZinc™ has a 5mil Plastisol backer coating that protects from interior corrosion.
