Color Options
The PBM panel is nearly as popular as the PBR panel. It has a slightly different look, with ¾” tall ribs at 6” o.c. and covers 36” with every panel installed. The PBM panel is used more on metal wall applications, but can be used as a metal roof. The PBM panel has an extra purlin bearing leg feature that makes it easier to install the lap fasteners.
When used as metal roofing, the PBM panel is commonly installed on roof slopes as low as 1:12. In addition, it can be installed as a metal roof over both purlins and decked applications. This panel can be installed vertically or horizontally as a wall panel. It is used for fascias, parapets, and walls. Architectural Building Components has manufactured this part in up to 50’ lengths. This metal panel is available in 24 or 26 GA steel with either a Galvalume Plus or Kynar® 500 finish.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Fluropon® coatings are factory applied, oven-baked finishes based on polyvinylidene fluoride resin (Kynar 500® PVDF Resin-Based or Hylar® 5000). Fluropon® coatings are manufactured by Valspar, 701 S. Shiloh Rd., Garland, TX 75042-7812.
Fluropon® coating systems consist of primer, applied at a nominal dry film thickness of .25 mil, and a color coat, applied at a nominal dry film thickness of .75 mil. Some custom colors may require additional coats, such as a clear top coat and/or a barrier coat. Some aggressive environments may require additional coats, such as a clear top coat and/or a thick film primer. Contact Architectural Building Components for suggested specifications.
