Product DescriptionThe 238T is Architectural Building Components latest and, possibly, greatest addition to our extensive line of roof and wall panels. It combines the attributes of snap-lock and mechanically seamed into one unique panel. The 238T has a seam in the form of a “T” and is a two-piece mechanically seamed structural standing seam roof panel. The 238T is an excellent option for retrofitting, re-roofing, and new construction. In addition to it’s marvelous performance benefits, the 238T provides for a simplified and cleaner installation. Since the clip is not seamed (only the “T” cap), there is no time spent on pre-tonging clips. With the panel’s symmetrical shape, clips can be pre-installed to reduce labor time. Laying out a hip roof will not be easier with any other roof panel. Lastly, By eliminating seaming clips, the seamer runs much smoother down the panel seam providing a cleaner finished appearance than a traditional mechanically seamed panel. In addition to standard panels, Architectural Building Components can taper the 238T. With a minimum slope requirement of 1/4":12, this panel is ideal for almost any design.
