Product Description
ABC’s 300 Series Roof panel fills an important niche in the structural metal roofing market. The system features a 3” tall vertical rib standing seam panel that is seamed on the roof after installation. The panels are held to the substrate using 6” long, 20 gauge clips that allow for a full 2 ½” of thermal movement.
300 Series standing seam panels are perfect for installation over open frame or solid deck where the advantages of a taller seam or wider panel can be utilized. Site forming continuous length panels onto the roof using one of our Archzilla™ trucks makes this system ideal for new construction or re-roof applications directly over existing metal roofs, single ply or modified roofs down to slopes of ¼”/12”.
Retrofit Roof Installation Over an Existing Metal Roof

Developing the Titan 300 System
We developed the Titan 300 standing seam roof system, using or 300 Series roof panel, after looking at hundreds of metal roofs that were installed on low slopes (less than 1/12).
We recognized consistent problems in three areas (see below image):
- Exposed fasteners
- End laps
- Flashings around large penetrations
In many cases, one or all of these three items prevented the standing seam metal roof system from reaching its potential 30 to 50 year life span. ABC’s 300 Series structural standing seam panels eliminate those problems by removing the end laps, the exposed fasteners that penetrate the building envelope and by having a vertical rib, many of the flashing issues disappear.
First and foremost, low slope standing seam or lap seam metal roofs fail at the end laps. Metal roof panel end laps are bad no matter what the slope, but on a low slope they provide a situation for water damming, then panel failure, and lastly bring your umbrella to work.

Why Pick the Titan 300 System?
300 Series panels have no end laps because they are manufactured right onto the roof in lengths up to 250 feet using one of our Archzilla™ jobsite production monster trucks. The 300 Series standing seam panel is available in both 16” and 22” widths. A vertical rib makes flashing a breeze.

300 Series panels come in 2 versions, 300SL and the 300DL. Both are seamed after installation with an electric seamer: the difference being a 300SL is seamed to a 90 degree single lock and the 300DL is double folded to a 180 degree double lock.
The 300SL is available in a 16" width only and is an ideal upgrade from a traditional 2" tall x 16" wide panel where longer lengths and/or lower slope dictate the need for a taller seam.
The 300DL is available in both 16” and 22” widths, providing the ultimate in low slope waterproofing. |
