Our Snap Lock panels are non structural, 2 piece snap-lock Standing Seam systems that have a separate curved seam cap that connects the two metal roof panels. Depending on the radius SnapLock panels are either machine-curved or laid down on larger radius curved surfaces. SnapLock panels require a sold deck for installation.

Use SL-LO on tight radius applications.SL-LO features a 1” tall seam and requires a 12” wide metal panel for radii from 3’ to 15’. Larger curves up to a 60’ radius can be run in 12” or 14 ½” widths. This panel requires a solid deck.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Fluropon^® coatings are factory applied, oven-baked finishes based on polyvinylidene fluoride resin (Kynar 500^® PVDF Resin-Based or Hylar^® 5000). Fluropon^® coatings are manufactured by Valspar, 701 S. Shiloh Rd., Garland, TX 75042-7812.

Fluropon^® coating systems consist of primer, applied at a nominal dry film thickness of .25 mil, and a color coat, applied at a nominal dry film thickness of .75 mil. Some custom colors may require additional coats, such as a clear top coat and/or a barrier coat. Some aggressive environments may require additional coats, such as a clear top coat and/or a thick film primer. Contact Architectural Building Components for suggested specifications.

PERFORMANCE

Fluropon coatings on steel meet or exceed U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Section 07413 Metal Roofing & Siding requirements. Test results reported here are for G90 HDG. Detailed test results are available upon request.
